Privacy Policy

How thewarehouse.business collects, uses, and protects your information as a seller on the Platform.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information thewarehouse.business (“the Platform”) collects from sellers who register, deposit, fund orders, and withdraw on thewarehouse.business, and how that information is used, stored, and protected.

2. Information We Collect

To register and verify your account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a government-issued ID or passport number. To process deposits and withdrawals we collect wallet/transaction records and payment or crypto wallet details you provide. We also automatically collect basic device and log information (such as IP address and browser type) when you use the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to create and verify your account, process deposits and withdrawals, assign and fund orders, communicate with you about your account and orders, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Marketplace & Payment Partners

Funded orders are fulfilled on real marketplaces (currently eBay, Walmart, and The Warehouse NZ) through stores that thewarehouse.business itself operates — these marketplaces only receive the information needed to fulfil the underlying customer order, not your Platform account details. Deposits and withdrawals may be processed through third-party payment or cryptocurrency processors, who receive only the information needed to complete the transaction.

5. Cookies & Analytics

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some Platform features.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and legitimate business retention needs (for example, records required for financial or fraud-prevention purposes). Contact us using the details in Section 11 to make a request.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed at, and is not intended to be used by, anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time; continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the update.
